Kaoru NAGUMO

Kaoru Nagumo is a young man who is transported back in time to the late 19th century. He finds himself in the middle of the Bakumatsu Rebellion, a civil war that is taking place in Japan. Kaoru is quickly caught up in the conflict and must decide which side he will fight for. He eventually joins the Shinsengumi, a group of samurai who are fighting to restore the emperor to power. Kaoru quickly becomes a valuable member of the Shinsengumi and helps them to win many battles. He also develops a close relationship with the leader of the Shinsengumi, Hijikata Toshizo. Kaoru's time in the past is a difficult one, but he learns a lot about himself and about the world around him. He also finds love and friendship with the people he meets. When Kaoru finally returns to his own time, he is a changed man. He is more mature and more understanding of the world. He is also more determined to make a difference in the world.
